SOCIALS 2010/2011 !!!

First official EUHC Social of the year will take place on Friday 17th September in new club sponsor KOKO
A chance for freshers to chillax after a hard days hockey / meet the other members of the club and for the seniors to be re-united with their mates and show off their sun tans.

A new season is upon us and its about time for some new faces to join the club! If you fancy joining one of the largest clubs at Edinburgh university then you need to come down to Peffermill on the 17th of September to try out for one of our eight teams!

EUWHC Intra-club TOURNAMENT

Hey, hope you are all well and you have all had fantastic summers! I know you must all be missing hockey and the fun that comes with it. So now we need to get back into the swing of things....
To help with this, we have organised a massive pre-season INTRA-CLUB TOURNAMENT!!

3XI FANTASTIC FINALE!

EUWHC 3 XI have once again reached the final of the Scottish Universities Conference Cup, which will be played in Dundee on Wednesday 24th.
After a 5-1 win over Heriot Watt 1st XI in the semi described by the journal as a "first-class" performance the 3s and captain Harriet Fairlie will face St Andrews 1st XI, a previous closely contested encountered.
A win would see them retain the title and ensure a night of silverware celebrations at the EUHC Ball.

Thanks to everyone who turned up at the AGM and especially to those who ran for positions. Our club would not be where it is today if it wasn't for you all willing to give up your time and work for the club. Congratulations to those who were voted in. 2010 Annual General Meeting

The EUWHC AGM for 2010 will be held at the Crags on Monday 15th March, 6.30 for 7pm.
Attendance is vital as this is your opportunity to have your say about the running of the club for season 10/11.
Anyone from any team has the choice to run for a committee position and....every vote counts so make sure you persuade your team mates to come down and vote for you!! The team captains for season 10/11 will be annouced on the evening.
ALSO members with a full year gym membership will be able to claim back a £40 cheque on the night, you must be present at the AGM to get this!!
