THE BIG DRIBBLE

The Big Dribble
The npower Big Dribble starts this Sunday in Scotland from 9-12am at Festival Square in Edinburgh and will travel down the country on various dates. The Big Dribble is a hockey challenge for everybody. The idea is that members of the public can pick up a hockey stick and dribble.....with the aim to travel 100m along a course. Each person that completes the course will contribute to the overall metres travelled and the target is to set a new world record of 2012km. At the end participants will have the opportunity to sign our Big Ball and wish the GB Hockey Team luck for the Olympic campaign.

Following our AGM the new EUWHC 2012-13 has now been elected..
Firstly, a huge thank you to the current committee this year who have all done a great job and ensured that this year has been a successful one!

CONGRATULATIONS to our 3XI, winning the East District Ladies Premier Division!!
The 3s sealed the title by winning 14 out of 17 games this season in their Saturday matches.
The 3XI have been closely followed by our 4XI who have maintained 2nd place in the same division and are looking likely to finish there with only one game left to play. The 4s narrowly missed out on BUCS victory after suffering a defeat to Stirling Uni 1s yesterday!
Great season for the girls - well done to everyone! x

So its time for another social this Wednesday, and what better way to warm up for the Ball than to celebrate the hockey year as we started: Bunnies, beer, more beer, cider and.... The Hive
Put your books away and get your lash pants on, and if you don't ...have deadlines then you have no excuse ...
Its also our Hive fundraiser date which means an opportunity for us to raise some dollar by selling entry wristbands for a small donation - not a big ask considering those of you who have made it past the bouncers this year, have got in free of charge.....
